Downtown Los Angeles: Pacmutual, Edison Building; Millennium Biltmore Hotel

Earlier this year I was very much in Downtown Los Angeles, mucking about either alone or with friends. Most of the time I revisited a lot of places I’d already seen, such as these buildings from the Los Angeles Conservancy walking tours. There is a comfort in treading well-worn paths, especially when I’m showing them to others. At the same time, however, I’m struck by how beautiful the architecture is, and how LA itself has its own gritty charm. Enjoy Los Angeles with me:
