Historic Downtown Los Angeles – Bradbury Building

Here is part two of my tour of Historic Downtown LA! In my opinion, this was the best and somewhat most challenging building to photograph–the Bradbury Building.

The Bradbury Building is located at 304 South Broadway and 3rd Street, almost across from the Grand Central Market. Its construction was commissioned by Lewis L. Bradbury and the design was by George Wyman.

View from the first landing. The Bradbury Building has been featured in many TV shows and films; the most recent being Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), Pay It Forward (2000), (500) Days of Summer (2009), and The Artist (2011).

Easily the best-preserved interior of all the historic buildings in Los Angeles! I hope someday I’ll get to tour the other levels or ride the elevator. Until the next adventure!
